So after some time reflecting over the last couple of days this is my humble opinion. We have had a fantastic end of the window with some good quality players joining the squad which gives me some hope for the season ahead. Hopefully Archer can fill the void of a top quality goal scorer as I feel this is the only position we didn’t really fill but I was ecstatic when I saw that we had stumped up the cash to get Ramsdale in.

Now for the tactics, I get what RM is trying to achieve in his philosophy of total football and when it works it looks fantastic and is a real pleasure to watch. Beginning of last season felt very familiar to now and it took time for players to bed in to what he was trying to implement on the pitch. I fear that simply we do not have the quality in the back three currently to play this way at this level and continuing to do so is suicidal for any manager.

Work on it more in training and implement it later on the pitch. Focus on getting the ball into the midfield and go from there. If that had been the case in the opening three game we would have only conceded one goal so far as all the others have stemmed from silly mistakes from the back three. I would love to see us be able to play this way and given time to work on it more possibly it may be possible but I fear that if this continues now RM won’t have the luxury of time and will be gone within the next ten games as we will continue to lose due to silly costly errors at the back.

It doesn’t matter how good your keeper is, no keeper stands a chance keeping a clean sheet with mistakes like the ones we have seen in the edge of our own 18 yard box. The possession style can stay but it has to be played in front of the defence not amongst it on the edge of our own box if we/RM are to stand any chance of survival. I hope RM figures this out quickly as I think he could do really well for us if he gets given the time and adapts as all truly successful managers do.

Rambo is the distributor and decider. He sees what’s in front and where the opposition is. He is very experienced. Trust him, If he mixed it up a little and gad his preferred outlet say KWP and works on comms with his back line we will be ok: McCarthy mixed it up in the final. What’s RM going to do if some are kicks out? Nothing he ain’t going to drop Rambo:

Football insider reporting exclusive RM fighting to survive. Looks like he may only have until end of Sep. Not rocket science is it. But he will not change imo so suspect Potter waiting in wings

JWP getting closer, on loan. Yuri will be a purchase, Flamengo in serious financial trouble and must raise several millions before end of September. If JWP doesn't sign then Yuri will be a 2.5/3.00 loan with option to buy. Don't be surprised to see Fraser or Willian signed after closure of window.

Sky sports reporting Yuri highly unlikely now. As for Jwp perfect fit for our pass sideways and backwards style. Should be great counting how many passes we make before the opposition score! Jwp not for me. And as long as Stephens plays it doesn't matter who we have in goal.

I think max cornet is more likely to fill the loan spot, although I would love to see JWP back, lesly and flynn with mattheus/aribo/smallbone/dibbling competing for places would only be a good thing.all though we do seem to be linked with just about every player at the moment!

Forest are paying a huge loan fee and all wages for JWP, even more than Ramsdale wages! It’s all last minute and a rush, can’t understand the logic. Get your squad sorted before first game of season! Anyway, looks like a few are leaving and 2/3 coming in.

According to the ugly inside. Bijlow has failed his medical at southampton which can kinda explain why we haven't signed him at all. This is kinda conrete has biljow has annouced he failed his medical on his socials.

So now we stll are stuck with McCarthy who clearly isn't worthy of being the sticks cause we'll get relegated if he is.


Rasmdale or nothing now unless we sign some keeper which suddenly becomes prime neuer.

Why don't we go for Stirling, probably not a shot of getting him but, might get him on the cheap and if he wants to play regularly why not us? Can't see any of top 6 clubs going for him. SR/RM - be brave and have a go, he is a class act. We really do need a Keeper too or we r bang in trouble, Johnstone is a good keeper, wants to leave Palace so if Ramsdale to Wolves (puzzling why though as Sa is class!) is going through then Johnstone is a must surely?!
