Lssleeeeeeeeeee,
I want to say a big thank you for sneaking Still into the stadium and him giving the team talk.
Without him I think we would have lost.
This new manager doesn't have a clue
As for suggesting the new manager is only successful because of ????️ ing
I agree
To think he was a tactical genius before he joined us. a Mr Still School of Excellence
Great result. only one team wanted to win the game from about the 60th minute.
And we did!!
1.) 13 May 2026 12:15:15
You're talking nonsense South hants.
I had valid points that I mentioned BEFORE spygate and since that has come to light it give more credibility to my points, not less.
Like I say I hope I'm wrong and I will gladly eat my words, but now more than ever it's looking next season is where we judge Tonda from.
Where I'm sure if Spying was a thing it will be closely monitored so it's not anymore and if it was never really a thing there's still the observation of how Tonda leads us into a new season with players/team they he has built brought in/replaced.
The fact that you are calling him a tactical genius after barely a season, particularly with this spying claims/evidence out there shows your not think straight.
I'm loving and grateful for what we're achieving this year.the difference is though I look further down the road at potentially what's coming.
2.) 13 May 2026 20:01:25
How has spate somehow validated your opinions. The opinions that can't be proven as your beloved WS and RM are no longer with us
3.) 13 May 2026 20:35:02
Because there's evidence to suggest this wasn't a one off situation, you understand the ramifications of that right?
It means, if proven, this 'tactical genuis' tactics are sending people to observe the oppositions set up for each coming match.
I was Tonda to be the real deal, like I say I'll happily eat my words, it's just disconcerting that nothing has come out to separate him from it, yet.
RM was never my beloved, I stuck with him because I knew the incompetence of our board, which was proven by the hiring of Juric to replace RM.
No one here seemed to think we could get anyone worse than RM, yet that's exactly what we got.
As for Will Still, sure I love the guy a little for what he done for us.which was put together a quality championship/Premiership team following that disastrous relegation season.
It's a team Tonda has been benefiting from and that's been my point regarding him.
4.) 13 May 2026 21:23:44
No one said Tonda is the real deal . What you can't get into your head is he has a much improved points to game ratio, it's a results business . Perhaps you need to know how that works
None of any of this has anything to do with spygate and yet you spout off about this proves your point. Juric was no better and no worse than RM
Ask any Rangers fan if they would take him back or have a shot with Juric, if those were the only options.
5.) 13 May 2026 21:24:55
I've not seen any "evidence" it's not a one off
6.) 14 May 2026 08:52:10

I sympathise with your frustration re Lesleeee
Nothing they post makes any sense whatsoever I propose no one replies to his rants. rants of a madman or woman!
7.) 14 May 2026 11:07:30
Hahaha very true. definitely in the wind up.
8.) 14 May 2026 11:37:25
Time will tell Southhants, I'll gladly put my hands up.
There's a chance I'm right about Tonda (I don't want to be) but then you and others who call me mad and rambling would have to put your hand up and own it.though I'm sure it will be quiet and tumbleweeds if that day comes.
Juric was Diabolical, he accumulated worse points than RM.
So if it very much did get worse to which Guernsey (who isn't around anymore or gone quiet) famously said to me RM needed to go as it "Couldn't possibly get any worse"
My only thing with RM was to keep him until they lined up the right replacement. We got extremely lucky with Tonda, if he is the man he's seeming to be.
Like I say I won't make that judgement until next season and I think even the neutrals would agree with me on that one. A fresh season away from all this spying stuff and to see what players we sell/he brings in and wether we can do it again.
Thats a fair assessment i'd say. Not madness in the slightest.

To win games you need to score goals. so many conversations on here about needing a striker, lack of goals . and now what a difference. It's now not a case of who will score but rather, who isn't going to score!
From fullbacks to midfield to attack. all getting into goal scoring positions.
At any other time I would never given us a chance against Arsenal . but we have so many options from near post headers, to scoring from dead ball situations, to wonder strikes to clever touches .
Come on Saints
25 Jan 2026 14:04:01
Too many wayward passes
Too many loose tackles
Gave Pompey way too much space
Sat too deep
Game plan? Not sure there was one
Very, very disjointed football .
Aziz playing too deep .
Poor football
1.) 25 Jan 2026 18:21:58
You can't really judge a derby game.
Derbies are like the Mike Tyson quote of getting punched in the face when trying to stick to a plan.
Fans and pressure will always be on the players back so all in all, considering we nearly won that game I'd take a point.
What's more worrying are the results/performances prior to this game and the likelihood of them continuing.
No point sacking Tonda regardless because they haven't/won't have put any thought of who to bring in to replace him.
I say keep him in the job till summer now and spend all this time carrying on with the search for the replacement they should have bought in to replace Still.
.or do what I said and bring back Still to see out the summer and see if things turnaround for him.
2.) 25 Jan 2026 21:33:32
Lesleee, just when I think you’re making sense you revert to this totally illogical obsession about Still.
The boy was totally out of his depth.
And yes you can judge players in derby games. Have they got the bottle to fight a good fight - do they know what it really means to wear the shirt?
I watched the game from a hotel bar in Rio de Janeiro before visiting Christ the Redeemer which overlooks the home of football - the Maracanna Stadium (rather than St Mary’s) .
Trouble is distance doesn’t dampen the disappointment (as St John will testify! )
3.) 26 Jan 2026 01:28:52
Millertime!
S
I agree totally …
Technically we might be a good ish bunch of players, but as a team we are playing disjointed, almost amateurish football. I saw more misplaced passes in one game than you’d expect to see all season. As for hoofing it out of defence? A tactic I last heard from my sports master when I was 6!
For some reason we have broken up the interplay, the triangles. aziz and Armstrong worked well together. It made AA a much better player than he is! Aziz was scoring for fun. scienza was the other part of the triangle and it was causing havoc. I now see now interplay between these, except for the pass that put scienza through.
the core tactics of the team have changed dramatically.
And as for Stephens marauding up the pitch? What
He is not even a great defender let alone an attacking one! Meanwhile fellows sits on the bench.
We were passing, not to players in great positions, but players in dangerous positions. Not in dangerous attacking positions but in defence!
Yes I know we put a few good tackles in, some stupid! But wow wee, was this the highlight of the game? No it’s shouldn’t have been .
As for hoofing the ball around like a local pub team, awful!
Stewart came on a spent most of the game is some bizarre attacking midfield position, or even out wide.
Whatever sport I ever competed in, there was one golden rule. When you are playing an inferior opponent, don’t reduce your game to their standard!
Well we certainly tried to. and to be fair to Pompey they had much more of a game plan than we did, they also had overlapping players, players out wide, off the ball runners . meanwhile we are playing some clueless football!
4.) 26 Jan 2026 08:17:00
Hey Millertime trust you had a great time. on Copacobana Beach whiich didn’t detract you from your primary secret undercover mission of identifying about ten quality players and send their details to St.Mary’s for a follow up!
5.) 26 Jan 2026 12:01:27
Didn’t he do the same with Martin. The obsession (in order) seems to be the managerial bounce, Will Still and Martin.
6.) 26 Jan 2026 15:24:57
It’s funny you say that St John because as I strolled along Copacabana Beach, I marvelled at the locals (boys and girls) playing beach volleyball using their feet and heads only. Incredible first touch and spatial awareness. I thought no wonder they are technically brilliant footballers.
It seems a long time since the “it’s just like watching Brazil” charts from the terraces!
7.) 28 Jan 2026 05:11:36
In hindsight what a chaotic glaring mistake not selecting Michael Carrick when the open opportunity presented. Apperently he has sorted out Man Utd. Players toxic dressing room (similar to Saints) witthin days of his arrival.I doubt he would re-consider Saints position at seasons end should he not be retained by United. With regards to transfers I have a gut feeling that should Armstrong move along SFC may for young Chelsea C/F (recently brought back from loan at Strasbourg FC) Kendry Pa’ez.Russian A/M Aleksey Batrako also look a promising player if he should be released this window, plus a couple of quality C/D and a competent left back and we’re in business with a goalkeeping review at season’s end.
17 Jan 2026 17:22:38
It doesn't not matter which manager it is, suicidal back passes, consistently poor man marking, atrocious tracking of a player, very poor positional play, poor reading of a game. are unforgivable for professional footballers.
Week in week out I see players with all these qualities. poor qualities .
It's a joke!
24 Nov 2025 05:44:36
And that everyone is how you win a game of football .
Fast, fluid attacking moves.
move the ball quickly
Move the ball forward,
Get it in the box quickly
Get players in the box .
After that teams will definitely be more nervous, teams won't be so keen on being exposed at the back .

Someone from the senior management said at an early stage that it was an intern 'trying to impress'. it was a one off comment that got lost in the noise of hysteria
It appears that this seems to be the case and that he acted renegade.
no case to answer. end of.
And as much as lesleeeee has decided that this new manager must have been achieving with inside information,
He's achieving because he is a very intelligent, technical genius
Go listen to some of the players talking about Eckert.
his in-depth analysis has been so in-depth that they can't believe it and are in awe
Now let's get back to the business

The EFL only has the authority to fine. do some googling instead of spreading this ball sh*t anti manager rhetoric.
He is a tactical expert who's background is exactly that
12 May 2026 19:43:04
By the way, it's not away goals counting double.
09 May 2026 21:09:27
Perhaps my post wasn't clear. Middlesbrough battered us I agree, but it was our own poor decision making, passing and tactics that helped them immensely
When we pushed up on them, played it quicker and wider, that nullified their press.
their manager didn't adjust to our change of tactics.
But yes I agree, we were very lucky and were. Battered first half. We sat too deep and allowed their press
