Kasper Hjulmand yes please
1.) 17 Dec 2024 23:32:47
It’s a done deal. Most likely announced after the Liverpool game.
2.) 18 Dec 2024 02:52:47
Who 2208? Danny or Kasparov?
3.) 20 Dec 2024 08:41:31
Juric here we go boys. Hold on to your hats: heavy metal here we come??
4.) 08 Jan 2025 10:22:05
Heavy Metal wa*k. The Brentford game was literally like having RM back in the dugout!
27 Feb 2019 15:12:45
Regardless of weather you agree with the transfer policy, the formation or players used. We must all agree that tonight is massive psychologically. A win is a must to put us above Cardiff.
lets get behind the boys COYS!

may sound like a weird shout for a new manager but what about Vladimir Petkovic he is Switzerland National team coach.
1.) 25 Nov 2018 21:28:18
How about my gran? She couldn't do any worse than Hughes.
2.) 27 Nov 2018 09:49:32
Get them working like clockwork.
3.) 27 Nov 2018 12:34:36

how much power do players seem to have these days?
02 Nov 2025 18:27:44
First time this year at a game yesterday. (We live in Ireland) has it been that bad all season? No leadership at all, very slow play, nearly always backwards and Preston knew exactly how to stop us. Looked a bit better second half when Robinson came on but never looked like scoring.
27 Oct 2025 09:25:09
My 2ps worth is we have been downgraded on players for many years now and its not the managers fault for results at the moment. we have tried changing the manager over and over but we need to look at recruitment of players and what is going on with the board. maybe a year or 2 in the championship will do us good and the club can get back to core values of using the academy and smart young signings from Europe. sacking another manager will not solve the clubs problems.
1.) 27 Oct 2025 23:36:31
100% valid lostsaint! Left with trying to fit square pegs in round holes.Hoping that January is an opportunity towards somewhat rectifying this dilemma! KOM.
2.) 28 Oct 2025 00:28:08
A lot of speculation about Management change.Although I am supportive of giving Will Still more time of the possible replacement candidates mentioned by reporters I would definitely select one of my previous choices Liam Rosenior, Michael Carrick or John Eustace ( Derby County) as I would assume Frank Lampard not interested due to his current success. KOM.
3.) 28 Oct 2025 07:50:00
I would give the manager the whole season. Those managers will not want the job. Write this season off bed in the academy players, we have been desperate for a striker and a GK for ages spend time getting these positions sorted. Get rid of all the dead wood and form a strong spine for the team for next season. Chopping and changing the manager has not worked try a bit of stability give time to build a side.
4.) 28 Oct 2025 19:18:46
Saturday will be tense. Optics matter as much tactics. If Still wants this job, he has to go 4 2 3 1 and start Scienza, Fellows, Armstrong and Azaz, then give Robinson decent minutes.
If he leaves fan favourites out, sets up defeatist, makes strange subs or looks lost, then the crowd could turn.
5.) 28 Oct 2025 19:59:24
Whilst patience is something we could all do having more of, there are a few issues with this.
1- Still had an entire window to bring in the players he wanted, get rid of those he didn’t, and the side that started vs Swansea only had three regulars from last year. He had a full pre season and plenty of money to spend, more than Bristol City who also changed manager.
It seems he didn’t know what formation he wanted and went half and half, leaving a lot of players playing out of position on the regular. Fraser, Fellows, Azaz, Armstrong, Edwards, Stephens have all been played OOP.
2- We’ve won four league games in 50. The majority are sick of a side who were one of the great example of how to run a football club less than a decade ago. We’re now a laughing stock filled with losers. Still seems set on blaming the finishing, individual errors, nothing about rectifying things. It’s bizarre.
3- we’re 20th in the league. We’ve won twice, both times luckily. It might not be a simple case of seeing the season out - I’m seeing people saying ‘might have to settle for play offs at best’. I believe we are in a relegation battle.
Failed to beat Derby, Swansea, Hull, Blackburn, Portsmouth, Watford or Stoke. These were all sides touted as being bottom half in August.
Yes he’s only had 15 games, but we’ve only won 4. Pre-season, looking at it you’d have expected 8-10. I think our next two home games will decide the immediate future. If we don’t win either of Preston or Sheff Wed, Still has to go.
Who to get in? No idea. Genuinely wouldn’t say no to Warnock at this stage. No more young risks. Someone needs to get amongst these players and sort them out. No more ‘he’s my mate’ etc. Someone to manage this lot.
We’re below Wrexham, Derby, Oxford, Portsmouth. It isn’t good enough. Happy to turn it around, and I hope they do, but currently I’d take 21st in May because we can’t hit a barn door from a yard away.
6.) 29 Oct 2025 13:05:52
Spot on SaintGGsy, I personally can’t see it working for Will Still but the points must come quick given the time and money he has had.
7.) 29 Oct 2025 22:32:52
Until your post SaintGGsy I thought I was in a minority of one.
Before a ball was kicked I said we are more likely to go down than up. It’s not just a lack of quality it’s a culture that has become insidious. The attitude and lack of bravery is unforgivable. It’s not rocket science to predict Boy Still won’t cut it - he’s just out of his depth. Like everyone else I would love to see him turn things round but it’s not going to happen any time soon.
To be honest we wouldn’t even dig up trees in League 1 because there is no team spirit. We probably will beat Preston on Saturday but that changes nothing.
We need an experienced manager to come in - one who can kick ass and instill confidence. My only surprise is that I thought Lanana would have a big impact in the dug out - but evidently not.
8.) 31 Oct 2025 14:04:22
The reason Still won’t turn it round is that he does not have the experience or tactical awareness.
To be a god manager you need to setup your team to play against the opponent. Each opponent is different, very different. It might be subtle differences like 5/4 at the back etc or less subtle ones like a fast midfield, fast wingers, tall CBs.
you have to setup your team up to beat the opponent.
But more importantly you have to be able to react and change tactics, players and formation at an instant.
Opposing managers seem way too clever for our succession of managers. A change in wing positions, to pushing the midfield up, spreading the front line. they all need immediate changes.
Still does not have a clue, he simply isn’t experienced enough. He tweeks, he makes substitutions, but they seem random hopeful changes.
Football is now full of elite athletes, defenders are skilful, clever, agile.
This is no time to learn your trade . he needed to know it already.
We have simply gone for the wrong manager.
We play occasionally clever football but mostly predictable . and that makes us easy to play against and beat
9.) 31 Oct 2025 16:34:41
I couldn’t have explained it better myself - spot on Rich
10.) 31 Oct 2025 17:54:00
It's nice to here others opinions. Will Still will probably get the boot soon just think we need some stability, someone to give us some identity and a system to ply by. We look lost and it's sad to see.
02 Feb 2024 09:02:54
Poor window for us we needed a LB and ST and brought in a CM and RW. We did keep KWP tho.
1.) 02 Feb 2024 10:08:16
We were on our limit for loan players in matchday squad and because Holgate and his representatives delayed signing for Sheffield Utd, wedidn’t have time for another loan. I think the board have learnt a financially painful lesson about panic signings, but for Lavia, Jwp and Livramento the club would be in financial ?. Loans make sense, take Downes for instance. We would have to pay 12 million for him plus 50,000 a week salary ( match his existing contract) that is 25 million over 5 year contract, we paid million loan fee and 30k of his wages equaling 2.5 million, a saving of 2.5 million a season. I know sometimes you can turn a profit on transfers but those days are becoming increasingly difficult unless you buy young players and blood them straight away, we can’t jeopardise possible promotion by changing the current squad in making risky signings. The club also has to balance the books, it owes a lot of money to many clubs for signings made in the last 4 years.
2.) 02 Feb 2024 10:20:05
Agree. If THB or Jan or KWP get injured fir any length of time we are light and it weakens us.
3.) 06 Feb 2024 13:52:58
As if by magic Nico Lawrence is back and promoted to the first team. They do listen. COYR
13 Sep 2023 14:15:20
Team to play Leicester city
Bazunu
KWP HB Bedrenek Holgate Larois
Alcaraz, Charles Downes
Frazer Adams Sulemana
1.) 14 Sep 2023 10:42:16
Absolutely love that line up . and it will work IF we move the ball around quicker, if we get it out wide, if we get it the frontmen quicker .
We p**s around with it at the back and Leicester will pounce on us!
2.) 14 Sep 2023 13:26:26
That’s 12 players on the pitch.
3.) 14 Sep 2023 17:23:19
Maybe the ref won’t notice!
As others have said - if we play with pace and purpose then we have half a chance. If we don’t, we are easy to play against and will go down without a wimper.
I do hope Sulemana starts
4.) 15 Sep 2023 13:51:27
Maybe starting with 12 players will give us the edge
5.) 15 Sep 2023 16:00:21
I am tempted by 0 4 6 formation, so we have no defenders to pass it around at the back and give away easy goals!

Kasper Hjulmand
14 Aug 2023 07:20:35
maybe need this Charles Kiddy to play in midfield where he is supposed to play. he can head, defend, and pass. Drop Armstrong from midfield.
