Whilst it appear the majority of fans hope that Tonda remains, an alternative(should it be necessary- and if terms are acceptable to them)apparently the two most consistent head coaches( of those being reportedly of interest to Southampton FC ) are Thomas Frank and Carlos Corberan.

Should the two current favourites become unavailable for any reason then Saints FC could turn to the well rested, proven and outstanding Coach Steve Cooper followed by Frank Lampard and Michael Carrick. KOM.

No excuses RM had most of pre-season to formulate his strongest x1 (and obviously still doesn’t know today) .Perhaps he was also blindsided by persistently shoe-horning Stephens in the starting line up.Anyway perhaps Russell will engage Jack to carry his bags to a new destination! Keep On Marching!

Why has my post of today suddenly disappeared? Where it was suggested that should an alternative coach be required if Tonda's position becomes untenable (hope not) then the. top two among those Southampton FC are reportedly interested in (providing they themselves are interested - and according to stats ) the most qualified & consistent including our formation are Thomas Frank and Carlos Corberan.

The result is a bit of a mixed bag! Can't fault any of the incomings although several reporters send conflicting messages as to whether or not Zac Abbot's contract has an option included.If it does include a permanent option (could be a very astute signing) and is likely a huge benefit playing alongside Keven Schlotterbeck and Nathan Wood without disrupting the 'status quo' too much.Maybe Southampton will be first in the queue waiting for the next window to open in January 27.to claim reinforcements to maintain their ambition.Someone ought to convince Dragan Solar to top up his money box as Players' are usually more expensive in this window.
