It’s time to take stock. Various reporters bumming us up when we are playing like a bottom three. team. International PLAYER status ( 8 ) count for nothing when week after week we are outplayed and outwitted by well structured teams without many recogniseable players. Whilst we have endured many injuries and poor ref. decisions it’s time to weed out overpaid pretenders for next season. Maybe Ralph could do with the shared support of a sharp no.2 to discuss substitutions player selection tactics etc. Future plans need to be activated right now in order to progress next season.

With regards goalkeepers retained the big’yen Forster ought to be the one we move along. However with his current huge wages contract it appears he’s standing firm (whilst he has every right to do) he maybe risks his future by not considering a salary cut to promote a transfer to a half decent club. If he chooses to sit on his contract until expiry (probably benched for most times) over his love to be playing football he may well end playing Southern League or similar. Gosh how things changed From back in the day when Saints players wage was 20 pounds a week and subsidised in Summer with aBakers round or similar!

I applaud Ralph’s recent signings so far with the possibility of adding Nunez and Weston McKennie (both in the right age bracket) would. be the icing on the cake!
From reports McKennie looks a far better prospect than Olivier Ntcham ( who apparently is quite lazy) (shades of Lemina) which won’t suit Ralph! Things are travelling very well in the right direction now considering Ralph inherited quite a few underperforming. and overpriced players when he first joined SFC-so again Ralph we thank and salute you! Keep On Marching.

I’m not suggesting paying anything like 30 mill. for 1 player (that was your quote) . Perhaps with the possibility of potential sales of Hojbjerg; Vestergaard Forster EllynouissiCarrilo Lemina Hoedt income for at least 2 decent incoming quality players plus a chunk of. last seasons account shortfall paid off. Eds001 Have you ever heard of a negotiated conditional offer. on a property or land subject to the sale of their own property (within a time limit)? Maybe this Business is conducted in similar fashion and expect several negotiations to be underway at the present time.

Saints Saint Saint. Note your negative comments re the possible purchase of Aaron’s as NO CHANCE.1.Spurs apparently have no cash.2.Chelsea defence appears ok. 3.WHU league position looks precarious.4Crystal Palace not as attractive destination as SFC for player.5. Arsenal maybe? if they are in need. That equates to about a 50% chance for SFC (providing we could get LEVY to bid for us at around 12-15 million. ) I’m sure the player himself will not cherish the possibility of Champioship League next season!

{Ed001's Note - don't Saints have to sell to raise money?}

A nice tribute letter to the fans from Berty recognising the timing is exactly right before the pendulum swings in the opposite direction. Good luck in the future Ryan and thanks. It’s noted that any plaudits to Ralph were omitted—HMM! It would be fitting if Theo followed suit! It’s pleasing that several posts suggesting more Young Players be given opportunities seems to have filtered through to headquarters-what a coincidence! I’m sure with the right recruitment this could be a change in fortunes for SFC.

Following his ‘man of the match’ rated performance v Leicester I was very surprised to see Salisu dropped v Liverpool when his speed would have been a great asset to combat mane and Salah in place of Bednarek if Jack Stephens was due a game. Considering young Salisu is canvassed as a potential prodigy for next season and more game time is invaluable. what’s. going on? No injury reported - another Ralph mystery? ( perhaps he’s hiding him from Klopp) !,

With money apparently in short supply SFC must abandon any intentions of signing Walcott on current form plus his expected wages would account for the employ of 2/ 3 prospective young players. JWP would have to improve (as would Bednarek) to be automatic selections. next season. Agreed a top Keeper would probably save us 6/ 7 points a season. Redmond would be seen leaving in a taxi! Concerning that the under 18’s and 23’s seem to be copping a regular beating and with respect to the Manager who is still learning his Premiership trade ( behind Reporters’smoke screen) the Jury is still out!

I agree with SaintGGsywith regards Diallo who at 22 years is one for the future. He is able to distribute the ball quickly due to reasonable pace quick thinking and ball dribbling ability but very often has to mop up behind JWP mistimed tackles and loose ball control. Should he be partnered by a more aggressive forceful Mid I’m sure his potential class would become evident.

STICK OR TWIST? With Ralph’s tenure re results in his defence he inherited a shocking squad which is taking time to dilute. Out to grass goes Bertrand Redmond Forster Walcott Vestergaard and Ings - In comes several quality young signings capable of implementing Ralph’s style ( with zero favouritism from day one) . I’m sure Danny would be far better off at a wealthy club who could play him Part-Time whereas he’s a necessity for us who can’t afford top dollar with many weeks spent in the ‘Sick Bay’. Or TWIST- Graham Potter ( early enough to select his own signings to suit his own style for next season)! YOUR DECISION!
