Not looking good for our first game with a new manager

Hopefully he abandons his three at the back formation. Liverpool had so much space, it was awful!
But he did change it and we looked much better. I’m not sure we can continue to miss so many chances . and survive the EPL

Rich, you’re right … even if we had Pep or Klopp in charge, without a 15 + striker we can’t survive especially as our midfield don’t chip in with many.

I know you’re a fan of Che, but I think you’d agree he ain’t no Danny Ings and that’s what we’re missing.

My hope is that when Tino and KWP return, we will have more threat gong forward.

What we don’t have is the luxury of time and we simply must do something in the window. Off load Walcott, Mo, Diallo, Adam Armstrong and bring in a top striker.

I know that will be a challenge, but the alternative is we will probably be playing Pompey next season assuming they go up.

Very much improvement showing togetherness spirit and effort for their manager. resembling a team and luckily with a little time in front to improve with the added players required in January I have a renewed feeling of optimism that we can avoid the dreaded drop and even produce an exciting young team for next season (providing no major losses in the markets)

If you check the saints website ( I just did) . yes Ruben S still maintains his position of ‘lead first team coach’ .
That’s really important and shows a lot of respect for the man’s qualities

See Some reporters are still dragging on the coat tails of Broja He’s had his purple patch in the Sun but now looks below ordinary at Chelsea.Good fortune to the young man but with our new Management in place I believe our striker requirements.have elevated somewhat since!
