Am I missing something? If we finish 8th, and Man U win the Europa Cup (so making the Champs League) do we then get into the Europa Cup? Uefa rules are incredibly complicated, but that's what it looks like to me.

Agreed. Probably a bit too much money (from what you read) and at the upper end of the age scale compared to how Saints normally do business, as well as the focus hopefully being on out and out strikers, but he's the sort of player you'd like to think we'd go for. Let's see.
