He's having a very good season and one of the best right backs in the championship imo. Versatile as well considering he's a midfielder by trade. Think it would be hard to get him in January considering Forest are mounting a serious promotion challenge. If they don't get promoted at the end of the season then I can see it happen.

Saints interested in signing left back Joe Bryan from Fulham and right back Kyle walker peters from spurs.

Doubt Bryan will be able to push Bertie off the starting 11 though. Didn't exactly do well with Fulham in the prem last season. Looks much more solid in the Championship.
Having said that, I'd rather see him in Bertrand's place should he become unavailable, as opposed to us having to use Danso, Cedric, and Hojbjerg there like this season.

I have not seen or heard anything of any substance recently.

Sims is a good player but the problem is he's a bit lightweight for the premiership. skilful but gets knocked off ball to easily.
