Please tell me you are kidding, we are all hoping that Puel leaves because of his boring, unentertaining football the last thing we need is a "Hoof Ball" merchant running the team in his place!
We will all have to hang on tight and wait and see how things develop. NC has done a great job over the last few years and we thank him for that but the bottom line is Southampton is not his club or his baby, it belongs to KL. I understand she wants to sell the club asap which obviously doesn't fit in with NC's vision so he must go. If Mo Po decides to go because of his allegiance to NC then good luck to him, I would rather have someone in charge of team affairs who is hear because of Southampton football club and finally if KL is here to raise some money this month then she should look at the two foreign misfits that might generate around 25-30 million before touching the academy stars of the future.

I wasn't at the game but watching the highlights I would say that he was at fault for their equaliser, he was completely the wrong side of the attacker, was caught ball watching and basically gave the attacker a free header which he almost scored from but Hernandez put away the rebound so he may have played well but he is still prone to switching off at crucial times and costing us. Really hope that Virgil sees sense and gets back to playing for us asap!

I don't think so, he had 18 months left on his current contract and Saints were prepared to extend that by 1 extra year making that 2.5 years. He has just signed a 2.5 year contract with Wet Spam. His salary at Saints was £65000 a week, the highest paid player in Saints history until we signed VVD, Saints offered to increase that to £70000 a week in the summer but Fonte wanted more and an increase to the contract length of two years giving him another 4 years at Saints and according to the reports he has signed a 2.5 year contact on £65000 a week so he is in fact worse off going to Wet Spam and add to that he put in a transfer request so there goes his signing on fee!
