He is 30 next year and a South American, who could find it difficult to adapt to the premier league (remember Delgado)! I would much prefer we stick to our policy of buying young talented players, that we can groom. Starting with Redmond, Ings and Caulker.

i thought the world permit could be an issue, but he's played enough international games over the last 2 years to help pass the permit stage

not a rumours but how do people think we played yesterday I think poor but able to improve and build on it

I don't think we were appalling. We have to remember that we haven't had a huge amount of time to gel as a team. Last year a lot of the players didn't need the time.
I think pelle has a lot to learn but has shown signs he is trying. The balls to him haven't been great but on occasion he was trying to get into the right place. Co pared to osvaldo he's far far better.
My biggest. Point frkm yesterday is we were playing a team who spent alnost the entire match defending the ball and my greatest concern was we had no real creativety to break that down. We played better against southpool because they attacked. We have always been better at teams that attack us. I have been reasonably happy with the defence and forster was very good. Commanded his area quite well.
My greatest concern out of it all was Long. I wasn't impressed with some of his movement and he really didn't seem to have any. flair for getting goals
Its the first two games, I am impressed with some of the tactics from roko especially some of the short passing but would hope we don't fall back into mopos one tactic of playing it into the net.

We are used to weasel words from the board. Reading between the lines they will be off by January. He only said they would start the season nothing about finishing it

3.) He did say they would start the season & maybe they will be sold in January but that`s 4 months on by which time we could be climbing the league & have some fantastic players in place, I believed him & was most happy with the comment about Saints NOT being sold.

i personally think koeman knows what he is doing selling a right back for 12-16 mil just beause he is english look at newcaslte buying jamaat for 4-5 mil who had a great world cup

1.) Im more worried bout Les Reed and what he's doing?

2.) Yh because we need the money don't we, only got £60m from other transfers so far, selling more of our talent is never a good thing
