Just seen this rumour. 15 million euros the rumoured estimated transfer fee. Would really love it to be true. He has similar built like schweinsteiger and described as a box to box, able to contribute to both defence and attack, and very versatile as he can play as a wing back and a wide midfielder. If he signs he would probably be a direct competition for clasie and jwp.
Can't fault him for failing to break into a star studded bayern side but he's young and held in high regard there so I wouldn't rule out a buy back clause somewhere in the deal. Although I hope I'm wrong.

His Wiki entry says he's 606 feet 11.5 inches tall. Should be great in the air!

Markyruk - I assume that you are referring to Pierre Emile Hojbjerg. Don't know what wiki site you looked on but here's a bit of info for you. He was born on the 5th August 1995 in Copenhagen, Denmark. His height is 1.85 metres which is near as dammit 6ft 1 in and mainly plays midfield. Hope this helps you.

@Welshgirl, Love the attitude and agree 100%. I've tried t tell them before (and 1 in particular who actually wanted us to lose games "to teach the board a lesson! "), but I guess they are just negative people year on year, despite the only evidence being to contrary. Leave them be and let them wallow in their negativity.

This is a great piece of news, and the kind expected by a good few. chrisdownj and peter Wesley in particular, true fans with faith in our club and board. I have no doubt that come 13/ 08 we'll have 2 or 3 more of signings of this level in place to kick off with. If some other rumours are to be believed, we look to be aiming at young players on the cusp of Europe's elite clubs. The future is bright, the future is Red and White! COYR:-)

Before I settle down to watch Fonte and Soares try to lift the European Cup I just want to say that on one hand I don't blame supporters for being downcast but hey we have been here before and we come back stronger. Two rules in life Rule no.1 : Never give give up and never quit. Rule no.2 : never forget rule no.1 . Can't wait for start of new season and am sure that everything will be o. k. COYR's.
