Will we ever learn?

Thanks for last season Adam Armstrong but you have proved beyond doubt that you cannot cut it at this level - what an embarrassing miss in front of goal.

Same applies for Smallbone and Stephens - far too slow mentally and physically.

Wouldn't it be good if RM abandoned this pathetic brand of football in the second half and gave us something to shout about

Too much loyalty to players that our clearly out of their depth. Stephens and Armstrong had the opportunity already to prove they are PL players but one couldn’t score more than a handful of goals and the other was loaned out to Bournemouth.

My issue with RM is his ego about the brand of football - 4 out of the 5 goals we have conceded this season in the PL have all come from playing out of the back that clearly doesn’t work. His argument that it creates more opportunities than it poses threats is nonsensical, we haven’t even scored in the league yet.

Aribo constantly looks like he’s running in treacle and has no desire to move forward either.

Start Dibling, Matheus and Archer and actually play a striker down the middle who can actually hit the target. Let the kids play freely and see where we are come January.

Jesus man really. I managed to catch the last 15 minutes and the difference with dibling, fernandes and lallana on the field is night and day. The amount of times I've heard RM use bravery and courage I've lost count of but he isn't brave enough to pick our best side! So what if dibling is young and fernandes, archer and ugochukwu are young/new, we are gunna be a million times more likely to stay up with them in the 11 than smallbone, Armstrong and aribo. Our goal being a prime example of the football we xan be playing and goals we can be scoring with our best 11 out there

Needs to be a sea change over the break. Rambo needs to sort the back line out and agree a strategy.
RM must play ABK Fernandes Cornet/ Fraser Dibling and Archer Ameow. Mix it up like we did in the final and not so predictable. At least we scored and Sugar should be on the team sheet with KWP. Come on boys sort it out before it’s too late.

The sad thing is this is like de ja vu 12 months ago. RM turned it around then but we weren’t playing against world class players and coaches week in week out. If he keeps with the current shape system and certain players we will not win enough games to survive relegation. I think we have to be careful with Dibling and Amo and play them sparingly, don’t want to break their confidence by throwing them intl defeat after defeat. I think the squad is not far off being good enough to stay up with the guidance of a good manager. RM change or leave, it’s as simple as that.
