Would be interested to hear views on what happens next. I think a lot of teams will be looking at Leicester to determine what they want for next season.

Who will leave and who will stay?

ROKO will stay.
Big Vic and Sadio will be the subject of bids from the bigger clubs. I think Vic could leave but Mane should stay. Pelle could go but personally I would like him to be offered a new 2 year contract. Austin is too injury prone.

We need to think very carefully about Academy players to finally sort out which ones could actually make the grade. You need a full squad of 20 plus players to succeed. These players need to be fit and fast.

You have seen with Leicester that teamwork is worth a goal a game and that includes conceeding as well as scoring.

If Vic wants to go how about a cheeky bid to bring Spider back?

We need cover for Fonte ( who again has been brilliant ), cover for Forster, and a cover for Tadic, preferably operating on the left. We must not use Manchester United as an example. Pay millions for players who are older and past their best. We need team players not prima donnas.

Finally who is our player of the season? I would go for VVD. Defensively sound, gives attacking options in the box, is fit and committed to the cause. Brilliant signing.

It's hard to predict who will stay or go, however if Mané or Wanyama were to leave then I hope Reed looks at Josuha Guilavogui of Atlético and Gastón Pereiro of PSV as replacements.
As for Pellè it was said that he is unlikely to sign a contract extension, if one were to be offered, and so he may leave for Italy. If so then Sebastien Haller of Utrecht could be a possibility. He has been linked previously with us as well as Tottenham.
Fábio Cardoso has also, reportedly, been scouted and so could be Fonte's long term replacement/cover for next season.

Lastly, I agree that Van Dijk has been spectacular this season. He should be our FPS, followed closely by Long and Forster.

These are just my suggestions, not concrete rumours.

I agree, hoping Sadio will stay, but think Victor could as he's in last year of contract. If we made a statement of intend early on in the window by signing someone like the Ox back and Koeman signing an extension I could see Vic staying. I reckon another class CB as good a Fonte and VVD and another winger, I reckon give Gazzaniga the chance to be 2nd choice keeper + replacements for anyone we sell and we'll be looking pretty strong. As for players coming up through the academy, last pre-season I remember Koeman saying he had high hopes for Jack Stephens and think he likes Reed and Hesketh as both started games last season, with Hesketh unlucky to get injured in his first start. I really like Gallagher, but we seem to have a lot of competition up top, which is why if Pelle does leave (which I hope he doesn't) I hope Gallagher could be used. McQueen always seems to have a promising preseason and Isgrove seemed set to make the step up until he got injured at the start of last season. So I imagine there's a few names in the frame, but a lot will probably be loaned out. I agree VVD for player of the season although think Shane could also be a worthy winner or even Davies has been very consistent.

I think we are going to have bids in for Forster, Mane, Vic, Bertrand, Pelle and Long. That doesn't mean they have to go though. RK will go to Barca if they ask for him. Doom and gloom, absolutely not, I'm just being realistic.
If RK stays though I fully expect us to do some major strengthening and attempt to push a step further in the PL.
Player of the season would be VVD or Long for me.

Pelle was offered a 3 year extension about the same time we signed Austin. He turned it down as he wanted a 5 year contract!

I agree that keeping RoKo is important, but how can we persuade the likes of Vic, Mane and Pelle to stay at the club when the manager won't commit. I say get rid of Vic 1 good game in 3 always liable to get booked or sent off. Cash in for 30 mil. There are better options, Clasie has had a good season and really need to keep Tadic VVD Bertrand Long Forster as the spine of the team. Defo need another CB Fonte can't go on forever also a RB Martina and Cedric aren't the best in the PL not even close. Three at the back works well against teams that will come onto us. Yosh is good over but not a RB in a 3. need to bring youth back into the fold somehow. we need to keep the likes of Romeu and JWP who are valuable too. I say strengthen central midfield and CB are we're good for another challenge for Europe.
