We need another striker. Pelle needs competition up front.
JRod could be it but I'd like to see Austin in here pronto.
He is proven in the prem and still scoring now.
Difficult to stay positive after the performance certainly during the first half.
Apoel beat them and they would really struggle in the prem.
All very well waiting for a vvd but if we are losing points because our defence isn't up to scratch early on this could cost us at the end of the season.
Let's hope our injured first teamers get fit quickly and the team gels with the new signings.

I strongly doubt we will sign Austin they don't see attacking players as a need right now we have got enough going forward. The performance last night was disappointing but we are missing Clasie and it will be tough to judge this team until that point. I agree about a CB but VVD is not the answer I have seen him a few times now and all I see is a massive liability, when he goes in his runs he never gets back and we will get torn apart in the PL I can't remember who said it but I agreed he is a poor mans David luiz. Also in regards to the striker I have been impressed when long has come on and actually been able to play the central role not on the wing.

Agree with JCsmith, where VVD Looks a talent, his playstyle is too much of a risk to take on, especially when we have no room for mistake when spending +10million for him. Should look at other options, possibly foreign, who have played at a higher level. Don't think attacking is the issue. When we have an established back four, is when we will look good.
