I am sure all saints fans wish Tino a speedy recovery, he has been one of the bright spots in an underwhelming season, the big question now must surely be will JWP stay with saints or see his future elsewhere, whilst as again I would love him to stay if he does then he could possibly regret not try to get to the very top level ., Moving on does not always work out well and in the past players like Matt le tissier have probably benefitted from staying loyal and becoming club legends .It will be interesting to see where we are at the end of the season and what delights the transfer window may hold

So Forster will leave in the Summer. He’s done his best (although he must have felt at times like facing a firing squad behind our comical central defenders.I hope that SFC haven’t dropped the ball again in extending McCarthy’s contract as he is only regarded as backup.Congratulations to Eddie Howe and.his Coaches for achieving the turnaround at Newcastle Utd and rescuing them from almost certain relegation to halfway up the Premiership to safety in the short term since he took over in the relative short term since November while Southampton FC have continued to plummet in the opposite direction. We know that Eddie waited patiently.in the wings awaiting his dream job managing the Saints but despite very average results he was overlooked in favour of continuing with Ralph HASSENHUTTL.I cannot help but wonder if this will prove to be a fatal mistake by the Club especially. at this late stage of the season (with nothing to lose)when Ralph leaves deserving young players on the bench in favour of much older players who havan’t performed in addition to those who have noticeably lost half a yard in pace.We understand that not much can be done about the Central Defence until Summer transfers but Ralph STILL apparently does not know his best team to date regularly changing and fiddling ( like Nero) with team selection while the Club burns!
