Do any of the eds know if there are any possibilities on the saints signing a new striker with Pelle now leaving?

I thought I heard we were in for berahino but I guess that won't happen. ( I would love us to sign him though)

Bas Dost looks as if he could be a more like for like replacement? but I bet we don't sign anyone.

If we give someone from the youth a shot I would love to see seager on the bench for us.

To be honest, I'd rather not sign Bas Dost. He doesn't really seem the quality we need. At the end of the day, we have lost an Italian starting international. Surely we should be aiming for the same quality.

Dagger, pelle has only been a starting international player since he joined us! He was pretty much unheard of, with only a couple of decent seasons at feyenord to his name.

Yes, so replace a starting international with a starting international. All well and good buying young future talent. But occasionally in key areas you need to step up the game.

Any chance of a Niang or someone his age with that standard of quality. Not saying we're linked but anyone like him I'd be very happy with.

Need an extra striker due to the departures of Juanmi, Pelle and Mane.
Islam Slimani a good shout. scored 33 goals in 41 games.

Islam Slimani would be perfect. Scored 33 goals in 41 games and will only cost 12.5mil. I believe he's 27- the perfect age for a striker!
