How is it known the player wants arsenal? Was that reported?

Apparently a £25 mill price tag, but the Saints offer of course includes a number of add ons that probably ensures the deal meets that price or goes slightly over it.

Sounds like a good buy, but, we bought Mane for £10 mill (if i'm not mistaken) therefore, why not buy 3 Manes - must be players out there - may provide us 42 goals and after a couple of years £90 mill for them all - good business sense.

Also, just because you say he wants to move to Arsenal does not prove that he does.

People on here as simple questions and want discussions - sometimes the EDS can just be soo blunt that it is disrespectful and rude - can we not just discuss this without backhanded comments like "numbers confuse you" - I have read an article stating numbers, the only confusion was that I put GBP and not Euros.

I think the work the eds do
Is fantastic and its nice to have people who pull you back to earth
While others are on the rocket to the moon. On occasion I have felt they have been a little bit sharp in response to some but I guess that comes with dealing with repetitive information.

pretty soon a pound will be a euro anyway so that will be a lot less confusing unless it is in yen or dollars? Any solid bids in that you know of EDs also any bids been lodged for players leaving assume Pelle will be off and after his displays in the euros can see him having a lot of admirers.

I'm not agreeing to that St Sam, as much as I have no issue with eds and I refrain for arguments, I do however rather enjoy watching the arguments as they unfold. Rather amusing, particularly in this sad footballing time I am forced to succumb to being an English Southampton supporter. Bit of a double whammy as a football fan. So if you wouldn't mind, I'd prefer it if we continued to let ed have some arguments with a few.

The EDS should just be more polite in the knowledge they provide. In my opinion it is EDS starting arguments with the fans and not the other way around.

Its great they are there to share knowlege and correct us when necessary (keeps us grounded), but, we are all human here and all deserve respect - not only the EDS.

To be fair I think I read the same article, and it did say we've bid £20 although CSKA want £25. It is in £. It's from a Nigeran source I think.

Minor detail, not worth squabbling about. Seems a highly sought after player with lots of interest, so like the sound of it, but it seems very unlikely.
