Well done to Tonda for getting the job, but is it well done to all of the rest of us.
I will say it now, I think the board has jumped too quickly. 4 out of 5 wins is hardly the platform upon which to make such a long term decision.
But my biggest concern is his age and lack of experience. At 32 years of age, does he really possess the leadership skills to manage a squad of players. Will he get the same respect as someone who has been around the block?
I don't know is the answer and only time will tell. But surely the board could have waited until January by which time there would be far more evidence to assess his credentials.
Fingers crossed they've made the right call because if they haven't they will be a bigger laughing stock than they already are.
So the real test begins today.

And he passed that with flying colours!

He has and I think we will be knocking on the door of playoffs in the next 5-10 games.
My concern is attacking depth. Lose Leo, Arma or Azaz and we are noticeably weaker. Need some reinforcements in Jan. Buy or loan.

Hopefully Stewart will be back, how fit he will be in questionable. I would like to see a big strong centre forward which would change how the front line plays giving opponents something different to think about. Surely soon opponents are going to stop AA dropping deep and linking up the play. I think Romeu has been brought in as a leader in training and the dressing room to support Eckert, interesting that Lallana is now with the u21 team.
It’s just really refreshing to see the team with a gameplan and trying to play progressive football.
