Ross Stewart didn't get injured and Will Still would still be here.

If fans could understand those fine margins, he'd still be here.

No, I'm not crying or necessarily care that he's gone, just that now the board have made another snap judgement call because they seem to bend to the boos/toxic percentage of our fan base.

They should have done this a few weeks earlier when there was a chance of getting Rohl as for I can see he is the only one with the credentials, alas that ship has sailed.

This all started with the sacking of Ralph and nearly went full circle if thoughts of him returning are to be believed. At the least it points to the fact I said all along, he shouldn't have gone. Even further to the point where you all called me mad about a possible Russel Martin return. Whilst its too late for RM I do believe my point where you thought I was bonkers was true .that he would have got us promotion. Some people are just good at certain things and awful at others. Like or not he got us promoted and most of that team is still here. and no I don't love him, it just is what it is.

Now though we're back on the clown carasosel to see where it takes us. I can only think of Carrick as a choice, just because of championship experience. But I maintain the board should always have been scouting the right man in the background for a long time and not some snap decision job.

I hope though as I always do that these things humble us fans, but I think we're cary on believing were top tier premier League quality forever.

Carrick is probably the realistic, less divisive and experienced championship choice. But when did we ever go for that!

RM's style will only ever get us so far and players seem stuck in it. So, depends on our ambition.

I also suspect some players are running the show behind the scenes. Anybody who pushes for fitness or is no nonsense gets moved on. Then wonder why favourites get picked and we lose from winning positions.

Still did not have a clue… he was simply the wrong man for the job.
His team selection, formation, tactics, substitutions. we’re not good enough.
And he wasn’t improving

Leslee and everyone who thinks it’s midfield and attack which is hindering us . We need sort out centre half’s! Wry nearly the worst side in premiership history, last season Bellis and Stephans were a disgrace, it took boy Still half a dozen games to realise the issue and dropped them both for cup game at a field .

He played same defence at Sheffield Utd, ok Quasie prob at fault for goals in both games . But it takes 5 mins to see they (woods also ) are light years ahead of of stephans and Bellis . If we can’t keep a clean sheet then we can’t win 1-0.

To say Boy still wouldn’t loose job because of Ross Stewart is a fair mush point as he was our focal point with 2 nippy smaller players either side up top .then again the ball boys have more touches of ball than him during any season! Still played Bellis at Bristol and he was shocking!

A gutless and a disgrace of a performance, then next game at Blackburn drops him but brings on stephans on 65mins to hold onto a lead in a game where Blackburn posed no obvious threat . IMO this is why he lost his job, trusting defenders that nearly made us worst team in history.

Don’t think we ever had such a worse cb pairing! Traditionally when new managers come in they improve things from the back including gk, but he many managers now have we had recently that take this on board?
