I would take Postecoglou right now - he's precisely the sort of avuncular type of manager our squad needs.

Trouble is Boy Still still has no idea what the strongest starting eleven is.

Yes, it was marginally better today but that's based on a very low starting point to be fair.

Not a chance Miller, he's like Mourinho was past his prime. Everyone thinks he's going to bring glory at your club but no, there's a reason why he's failing.

You're also going to have to stick your claims to the mast at some point. Can't just keep saying everyone is going to fail, that's the easy route out ?

Still's looking like our best option since Ralph. He definitely tries things and made some of the signings he's made our starting to gel. We just need that strong physical presence up front. It's why I never wanted Che to leave.

Will definitely learns as he goes and you can't accuse him if being stubborn, so I'm definitely down for the ride to see where we go . especially as I predicted mid table before we even had a new manager.

We nearly went down as the worst premier ship team in history recently, there was always going to be some wrongs to right

Oh how I’ve missed your charm Lesleee - I was being somewhat tongue in cheek, given that the Aussie had only 30 minutes earlier been given the boot!

I have always stated on this forum that I have grave reservations about Boy Still simply because he has zero experience of the Championship. Managing a mid-table Belgian league side hardly inspires confidence.

Yes he’s a nice guy and yes he’s refreshingly honest but the simple truth is that the Saints job came too early for him or expressed differently, the job is too big for him.

He will be gone by Christmas unless things turn round very quickly.
