I was starting to think positive about the games ahead, I think maybe we all were a little with the Ross Stewart finding his feet again .now ?

But then this only highlights/mirrors points I've made in the past about fine margins and that for me a decent target man/striker who can hold up the ball, score and or bring others in the game along with a a decent keeper are integral to us turning draws/losses into wins.

Wether it's our scouting team/board/football in general these days we've seen to have an identity/style of possession play for a long time now, yet we seem to always have small creative players up front.

For this reason I'd be willing to say give Damion Downes a good run in the team. i'd sell Archer in the January window and look to use any of that money to invest in someone likewise to Stewart if Downes doesn't end up cutting it. For me Archer and Armstrong inevitably need to go once we're back in the premiership and I rate Armstrong more than I do Archer for the championship.

We need a strong presence up front and at the back.
