As an older saints supporter I was very sad to read that David Armstrong had passed away at only 67 years old, My memory of David was a match winning goal against Man UTD after Kevin Keegan had had a fantastic goal disallowed, let's hope one of our current players can do the same on Saturday

What sad news - he was such a composed ball winning midfielder with a rocket of a left foot and a very important part of what was one of the most rewarding periods of being a Saints fan. God bless him.

Heh Norfolk Saint, that Keegan disallowed goal is in my book, the best goal scored that never was.

He was superb in the air as well . One paced but read the game superbly, quality footballer and really nice man. He used to go to my gym and we chatted football several times whilst sat in the steam room.
