Further to Saintbens post I totally agree about finding a place for Ricky Lambert on the coaching staff, his stats are excellent, goals scored but the variety eg headers, shots etc plus he had a brilliant temperament plus second only penalty taker to Le Tiss. Come on Saints we genuinely need someone of his quality on the training staff!
Come on Saints fans we really should push Saints management to appoint him.

Isn’t it a bit naive to assume he’ll be a good coach? After all these years haven’t we see enough former great players make poor coaches?
