Just a thought, but since Poch and Koeman left and we sold our best players each summer, all the pundits have said that we can not go on improving season after season and its all going to come crashing down around us sooner or later. Well, if 8th is the crash - that ain't too bad, is it?

I think the crash is gaining 13 fewer points than we did last season. The almost total lack of quality outside the top 7 saved us from embarrassment.

wouldn't mind having a 'bad' season every season tbh.

and whose fault is that? Puel can only set the team up to create chances, he can't put the ball in the net for them.

I agree with you SaintySaintSaint - everyone says we play bad football but this chance creation shows that we're still a good attacking side. If we had put away a third of these shots on target it would be a different story. We could have scored many goals against Stoke on the weekend but our finishing was poor.
