Anyone else worried about the lack of quality linked with is. We need a marque signing to compensate for Mane going and a striker as Charlie Austin and JRod can't be trusted to stay fit. The squad we have isn't strong enough for the Europa and domestic competitions.

In the past three seasons, we've never been "linked" with anyone of particular note at that moment in time. We all know that, it's how our transfer business has been conducted for many many years. Mané is a huge loss, but we've lost before and yet we're still here having won more than our fair share of the glory.

Signings will come, make no mistake. Will they be successful? Time will tell, but trust in the club, trust in the board and trust in the black box.

Charlie Austin was a bigger "name" signing than mané was. Our club policy isn't to sign big names with over inflated prices . i'd say a Bayern Munich midfielder is about a marquee as we will get. That doesn't mean the player we bring in aren't quality just not ones clubs bump up their prices just because of their names.

Next season the league will be even more competitive, we need to bring in players we know can perform well. Even people like Bouffal I'm worried about not fitting in to the league! Definitely in need of a striker, defenders and keeper.

Every single transfer window people say we need a marquee signing, and every season the board prove us wrong? What will it take for people to put trust into the board and understand that our football club is a business. That's the way we like it.

I'm for giving youth a bit more of a chance. Kane and Rashford only got into their first teams due to injuries in their teams. Maybe we've got the Marquee signing sitting at Southampton already.
