Looks like we're signing Vertonghen then as Toby says he wants to stay in the Prem and play with his fellow countryman again having played with him at Ajax. Although The Daily Telegraph are reporting it the other way around!

I also note that spuds are interested in signing 3 players that MoPo worked with at Saints-one of them being Toby!!

There are a whole herd of swine who have their snouts in the trough which is football money. Until they can be bothered to do some research best to ignore them.

As the games tick by there will be a lot more of it if we continue to challenge the top 4. They will have to talk about Saints, they will know very little about our club, so will become increasingly nonsensical.

Take no notice of the media as Toby stated that if he had his way he would stay with Saints. With the internationals coming up and going into the last 8 games of the premier league media mongering will be rife. One thing is for sure is that if Clyne and Schnerderlein are determined to go then Koeman has players just as capable lined up. Look at replacements that have replaced the ones we lost. We will be a better team without greedy players that have let their even greedier agents persuade them to leave. Wouldn't it be be karma if we finished above Liverpool and Spurs.COYR's

Toby has just bought a £2m penthouse just outside Southampton, doesn't mean he is def staying but it is an easy drive to training ground

If Toby is living in this alleged penthouse he would almost certainly be renting it . Players very rarely buy houses these days as they are not sure of their futures, especially on loan players from abroad .

A £2m penthouse in Totton - must be big.
If clyne / shneiderlin go then we def can afford to pay for Toby.

Vilhena coming, Micah is very possible. Looking at new striker as back up. Defenders on Koeman's radar. Stop worrying we WILL survive and move forward next season whilst probably playing in Europe. How's the time to get rid of whinging Morgan and hold out for the highest transfer we can manage. Let Clyne go on the same basis as he has turned down a very good contract - so much for loyalty in modern day football. Le "God" Tissier was a brilliant player and loyal to Saints. He could have gone to "bigger" clubs but stayed . Toby wants to play with his Belgian mate. I say let anybody go that has any doubts about playing for Saints and are seeking Champions league - it's just a smokescreen for getting more money. Good riddance and byr bye we will survive without you. COYR's

I would do all we can to get Toby, has been superb this season. Can see him ending up at a CL team next season and we will fall just short of that I reckon. Apologies for sounding negative but we can only be happy with this season after the summer, improving on last season was probably unthinkable then. I think Morgan and possibly Clyne will go at end of the season for good money but were more than capable in transfer market. As it stands now I would say we need more goals up top.(Luiz Adriano from Shaktar is a great if optimistic shout.) New decent keeper wouldn't go a miss either now with Fraser out for ages but in Kelvin we trust.

Agree that Saints should do all they can to retain Toby but it depends where we finish in the league. Would absolutely love it if we finish above Liverpool and Spurs - would Toby go then as I don't think that the top Four clubs would be after him. Goalkeeper, Striker, Midfielder and Right Back being closely monitored to replace Morgan, Clyne and back up for next season. CL will be achieved next season no matter what the top 4 splash out as financially we are getting stronger and stronger. In Koeman I trust as he should be made manager of the season for what he has achieved this season.COYR's
