I would do all we can to get Toby, has been superb this season. Can see him ending up at a CL team next season and we will fall just short of that I reckon. Apologies for sounding negative but we can only be happy with this season after the summer, improving on last season was probably unthinkable then. I think Morgan and possibly Clyne will go at end of the season for good money but were more than capable in transfer market. As it stands now I would say we need more goals up top.(Luiz Adriano from Shaktar is a great if optimistic shout.) New decent keeper wouldn't go a miss either now with Fraser out for ages but in Kelvin we trust.
I would hope we could afford him should we wish to sign him because if we couldn't then it removes any hope of us signing world class players. Maybe it's fantasy to have such hopes but if a top notch player became available I would like to think we would be tempted to move heaven and earth to get him. Sneijder isn't such a player because he's past his best for me. The Sneijder of 3 or 4 years ago would be superb.
Would be a statement. Big name player but he isn't worth smashing the wage structure to get.
Since a move in the summer didn't happen for him I think his attitude has been superb. The timing of this isn't great however. Just hopes he keeps playing to the same level as it's in his and the clubs interest and the worse that can happen for us is that we'll sell him to a big club for sizable money in January and pull out abit of magic again bringing someone in.
