So new keeper joining, been some time since we had a decent keeper.
Fits the bill of young and talented and at the right place to improve and be sold for decent profit.
Sounds like a quality signing and fits our model.

Heh SaintySaintSaint - I imagine you will be referring to my scathing criticisms of the recent custodians between the sticks and no offence taken ?
Have no fear, I will always support the development of young talent - particularly goalkeepers. I cannot say I’m sorry to see Forster go to Spuds though and so far as I’m concerned, it’s last chance saloon for McCarthy.

Worryingly though, we seem to be relatively inactive in the market - Aug 6th will soon be upon us and so we need time for new blood to bed in.

I would love to think that there’s a couple of big surprises in store but I’m not feeling it…

One of the guys posted here that he’s never felt so confident at this stage of the close season which has left me puzzled - I had a week away and wonder what I may have missed?!
