Just noticed on line the passing of Jimmy Gabriel, older saints fans have very fond memories of a totally committed player who was a rugged defender and who could also get the team a goal when needed he will be sadly missed RIP.

He was always one of the first on the team sheet with the likes of Hughie Fisher. He was a greta club man who everyone respected.

I watched Jimmy many times at the Dell in the late 60s and early 70s. Always gave 100%. RIP Jimmy.
