Great to see Bederneks red card overturned so justice half done, so how about a punishment for Martial for diving. I hope we get a bounce back win on Saturday looks like we have some of the injured returning.

Justice for Bednarek, but not for Luiz.
I didn't see your game, did Dean, give a penalty, but no card, then on advice from VAR, look at the monitor, and issue a red card, only to have the red card, correctly rescinded, pathetic. At least it didn't impact the result. Good luck with your injuries and the rest of the year.

Sadly that’s probably the reasoning Davy. Luiz’s red card completely affected the game and PGMOL don’t want to admit to one of their employees making such a consult error. Jan’s is incredibly similar and both are incorrect calls, but it didn’t affect the result of the game only the margin of victory.

I was all for VARNright up until a few months ago, but it’s use and the incompetence of those implementing it has to be rectified. I know it wouldn’t have mattered and we’d still have lost, but Che’s goal isn’t offside, and at 1-4 with 35 minutes left, we’d have at least probably had the dignity of only losing 5 or 6-1, and not having the ignominy of another 9-0.

Oh well. We all love Ralph and he seems to be staying so hopefully when injuries dry up we’ll be back to fighting for a top 8 spot.
