Just read that we have been tipped to lose at Fulham at the weekend and this may prompt the board to reconsider MP's position. Personally, I can see us losing and MP retaining his position, thoughts?

I seriously think that won't lose this FA cup round and also don't get down just because some betting or news site reckons we are going to lose. Just cut the pessimism please!

Our board seem to have lost their way, and unfortunately willsa I think you're right. I think they will keep faith with the manager until it is too late. I just can't see him turning it round at all. We look so poor, up front, in defence. I don't think we are fit enough, we lack confidence. there is nothing positive right now. We are worse off statistically now than the season we went down. Pellegrino is way out of his depth and doesn't seem to have the nous to turn it round. I think the players have stopped playing for him too.

I can't see MP lasting much longer at the club if we lose. I know RK came out and said he was safe, but of course, he's going to do that. He wouldn't exactly come out to the media and say if he loses another game he will lose his job.

The problem they have now is they've publicly backed the manager and if they were now to sack him this would inevitably make them look incompetent
But we already know that.

It would make them look so much more incompetent to publicly slate a manager that is still in charge. Of course they have to back him. If they didn't back him, you'd criticise them 10x more and have genuine reason to be so absurdly negative about everything about the club.

And now we have won I say that my optimism was more realistic than your pessimism.

Hi Guys It has been quite obvious to all that go to st marys this season, that this side is not giving 100% to the manager, if you read my previous messages its there for all to read. Whether you accept it or not the VVD affair has completely upset the team bond, I also wrote that I expect RB to move to Man city sooner or later at the moment he has no desire to be playing for Southampton If I had any faith in this board that they would put all the money back into the squad I would have told them to get rid of VD at the beginning of the season maybe things might have been different if not sell Tadic, Redmond, boufal, ans anyone else who is seen to be not putting in 100% then reinvest and buy players that want to be here I no its hard to accept it but the truth always is.

disilussioned.
