Hi, is the real reason the Southampton board are so upset about this situation is that they believed they where going to have an auction this summer over the sale of VVD? When they realised this was not the case then the complaint arrived at the FA. The phases 'not ripped off anymore' and 'Liverpool have acted appallingly' etc don't sit right with me. I don't want any player who doesn't want to play for my club. If coutinho doesn't want to play for Liverpool anymore: thank you and good luck Phil. Same with Torres, mascareno, Suarez and the great Alonso. I feel for fans all over the country who lose their fav players but this is part of football, I do feel saints fans are over reacting a little. You're probably feeling the same way Celtic fans felt 2 years ago.

{Ed002's Note - No. The board are upset by Klopp briefing certain members of the press to deliberately unsettle players contracted to other clubs - not directly illegal but very unprofessional and morally reprehensible. They are also upset that Klopp made an illegal approach to the player which is against FIFA and Premier League rules and persisted in contacting the player after an anauthorised meeting. Southampton now has a player who is damaged goods - and that is the directly attributable to Klopp and Liverpool FC - who sit at the very bottom of the pile in terms of professionalism of football clubs across the European game. Liverpool has been repeatedly been caught making illegal approaches to players and have been warned on a number of occasions.}

Am I right in saying ed, that the relationship between both clubs has now collapsed this season and Southampton seem unwilling to talk or deal with Liverpool? I have heard a rumour that this is a similar situation to he mane one last year. That JK klipperty Klopp had approached him without the proper authorisation? I just feel on the face of things Southampton are not willing to sell to Liverpool.

{Ed002's Note - There is no relationship between the clubs - they have not spoken. In apologising they withdrew all interest.}

Well said ed I couldn't have said it better myself. Even when they've been caught and supposedly apologised they carry on a orchestrated campain through ex players and friendly press but it is all part of the same club campaign to unsettle players but refuse to accept offers when their player want to leave.

Klopp is one arrogant tw@t Liverpool are bang average on last nights showing here is hoping they go out of champions in qualifying game and see how attractive they are then cause I hinestly think they are not going to get top 5 again. VVD needs to be told and left to rot the arrogance he is displaying when being offered and olive branch is disgusting he is clearly motivated by cash more than status within the game as this must surely have been tarnished irreparably.

The arrogant thing is that Celtic are a Champions League squad, so if all he ever wanted was to play Champions League football he should have stayed at Celtic.
