Something that interests me . now I know we are a relatively small club which means relatively small revenue from ticket sales, merchandise etc. but and this is a huge but. we have one of the tightest wage structures in the league. We recruit very well. Our only real expense of the last few years has been the training facilities. (Transfer funds out obviously offset by transfers in) . Apparently Ralph has grown "the brand " and we are now one of the quickest growing. Shirt deals, shirt sponsorship, General sponsors, Europe qualification, premier league prize money, tv money. surely we should be brimming. not 48 million in debt ( yes I know it's too kl interest free) I think I read somewhere we have been in the top 30 revenue for the past 2 years internationally, I struggle to see the issues with loosening the purse strings a little if everything is so rosey? I'm befuddled every time I see we are in debt. any amount.

I don't think we are in debt.

Simple really - transfer and sponsorship money comes in in payments not lump sums, so those deals are not lucrative on day 1. On the other hand most of our development projects, plus wages and taxes etc have to go out as lump sum payments, so the debts (while serious) aremore to do with cash flow as I understand it - much like when Arsenal bought the Emirates.
