RM has said that ABK is sixth choice centre back and likely to leave. It's got to be his attitude because it's certainly not his ability on the pitch! He is by far our quickest centre back and an outstanding one on one ball winner. Makes no sense to mug him away and then play Stephens or Edwards who do look out of their depth for the premier league. Edwards had a very poor game against Cardiff, Wood did ok and Taylor was very solid.Ramsdale signing is a real necessity but the overall package is eye watering and is still subject to Arsenal signing a replacement. My starting lineup: Ramsdale Sugawara Bednarek HB Taylor Downes Ugochukwu Fernandes KWP ( free role) Diaz Archer ( both central). Mix up the bench, sell Onaucha ( if Stewart is definitely going to be fit this time). Edozie ( until Christmas) Manning Edwards Dibling on loan to championship clubs for much needed game time. If we get Yuri then I would sell AA whilst his value is still reflected in his goals last season, he will not cut it in premier league .

Abk is 100% our best defender, there must be another reason why we are so desperate to sell him, we are not getting mega bucks for him, he fits the martin profile of "future proofing" the club. He is injury prone, but he is head and shoulders above woods, edwards, Taylor, HWB, Stephens and for me even better than kwp. Would love to see him force his way back into things.

Maybe you've hit the nail on the head with his injury record. Have the medical team seen something they are concerned about in the future and want to get rid while we can? . Let's not forget he has failed a medical this summer.

ABK 6th choice is a ridiculous statement. I had resigned myself to him going but it is a crazy decision to lose one of our best CBs. 1 injury and we could be in trouble.

Edwards could be good if we drop to the Championship but if we go to a back 4 now, he could do with a loan. Edozie and Manning too. Keep Dibling for me. I would keep AA though I agree with your point. He would be very useful for us if we are relegated and may chip in a few now.

The side is taking shape. Would love a striker if we have the funds. Ramsdale will get us 5+ points.

I assume so as Hoffenheim were set to buy him however he had an issue with his medical which lead them wanting a cheaper price or pulling out of negotiations.

I still would play ABK he's miles clear of Stephens he may be injury prone but I watched him defend against Ronaldo and he was doing amazing so I got faith in the guy that he still would be a really good center back
