What a waste of £19m! Believe we did something similar though for only about £4m on buying Vegard Forren about six years back. Never should have allowed Pellegrino get his hands in the chequebook in the first place.

Now hopefully Hoedt is back off to Lazio and Boufal back to Angers, and we should have a nicely trimmed squad. Disappointed to see Klarer go, I believe big things were tipped of him.

If we can get Hoedt and Boufal off the wage bill as well, it will put us in a stronger position during the January window if we NEED to do business. All of the bad transfer decisions after RK left the club had put us in a dodgy financial position. While I respect every player that togs out for us, all the above players were surplus to requirements. RH has done a great job if all those players are now off the wage bill.

You do know it's not the manager who sets up their transfer away right? How has Ralph done a good job in getting rid of them?

Has anyone heard anything about whether Gunn is going anywhere? All the talk a couple of weeks ago was that either Gunn or Forster would go but as FF has been on the bench so far this season I can't see Gunn getting the No.2 keepers spot back so surely needs to move for the sake of his career.

I think there's still a period where lower league clubs can sign players on loan. So hopefully he'll be off to the championship on loan.

I'm just relieved we've managed to ship the deadweight from our wage bill.
