Haven't been on for a few days and was stunned to see so many people upset with Longs signing. We overpaid because people know how much money we have. End of.
He shows he can do be good. Who would. Have thought SRL could have done what he did. Yes he might be an osvaldo level waste but I think he has shown himself a workhorse. He knows the league and isn't afraid to get stuck in. I have faith that they see the potential. I'm just pleased we have the new blood in. let's just hope we get the defence in soon

Amazing, yes truly bloody amazing.
We wanted a poacher with Champions league FINAL experience (Hernandez) and we paid double what Hull did 6 months ago for an ex West Brom player who scores a goal every four games.

At the end of the day the s*** hot players don't want to come to us end of all our decent players have gone and still want to go, we just need to rebuild with the players that want to wear sfc on there heart I am trying to be positive and I reckon we will be ok

Wow champion league final experience, so has Jonathon Greening and John Oshea and probably Wes Brown but you wouldn't want them would you? I'd definetly have Long over Hernandez, Hernandez doesn't have the attitude to play for us and won't run the channels like Long will or contribute as much to link up play, he'll score more tap ins yes but that's about it, Long's been around double figures mark for the last few seasons in the prem, with 7, 9 and 8, so no he's not prolific but he'll have better service from us and hopefully he can get up there, will be a good signing for us in IMO even if he's not the marque signing we wanted

Yep, that's about right. Hernandez is a tap in merchant in a good side. Long every time. This could turn out to be a very very good buy. Nice to see a Long in the team!
