In retrospect I agree with you.

Apologies-Iwas showing my admiration and support for Saints Football Legend Matt Letissier-man.

{Ed001's Note - not a problem but it is just not the right thread for it. It is a completely separate topic. And it is too fractious a topic to really be able to just meld in together without causing issues. It really needs its own thread.}

{Ed001's Note - come on man, don't hijack a thread with a completely unrelated subject. This is not the place for it, it should have its own thread if you want to discuss it.}

Further to recent reports I truly hope that SFC have learned from their recent transfer market catastrophes.Now with significant funds expected from Player exits plus the Leagues parachute payment Saints have ONE MASSIVE OPPORTUNITY to acquire TOP QUALITY PLAYERS and (OVERLOOK VERY ORDINARY BENCH WARMERS) in OUR quest to assemble a team capable of shaking up the Championship and potentially Premiership capable.With some good Players retained plus a host of YOUNG PRODIGIES champing at the bit I am convinced. that a squad filled with a far. better attitude and effort than last season combined with improved Coaching under the stewardship of Russell Martin the SFC future could be bright indeed.

teejaysaint - Jesse would be a substantial upgrade for us but reports indicate that the USA National Team are very interested in recruiting him as Head Coach.Saints would have to be super quick with a sweet offer to capture him now!

Time to take immediate firm action to remove this imposter ( RM ) and replace him with an experienced quality Manager/Coach capable of constructing a new team playing attractive attacking football. RM (poor dilusional fellow) has done his best (as a 1st.half only Manager) throughout the season but unfortunately he’s proven not up to the task and should be seeking reemployment in Div.1 or Div 1 in Scotland. To reach his pinnacle.To preserve our Football Club from completely derailment and Home attendances being halved next season the Southampton FC BOARD must get real and JUST DO IT!

When the pressure is on Martin crumbles.Perhaps he has learned from the Cardiff Manager (alllbeit a little too late) to consider including a couple of academy youngsters in the squad who. can provide that added freshness — but unfortunately he appears to have lacked the bottle!

Two.pieces of info that really lift the spirits—-1. Saints win over Coventry 2.Southampton FC journalist recommends 3 Managers who could potentially replace Russell Martin (Yeah) in the event he gets captured by Brighton FC. All three are brilliant Managers and I would be overjoyed and gladly accept any one of them in a heartbeat.,!

Martin says he THINKS he knows why Saints attackers faltered at Blackburn : Would somebody solve the mystery and explain to Him it’s the very same reason (after hours and hours on the training pitch) that has.been happening ALL SEASON.!

south hants rich Agree totally with all of your observations but would add that in order to prevent chaotic destabilisation RM remains in place until the absolute right Manager becomes available ( dependent whether or not we qualify for EPL next season and whether or not the Board have the Balls to carry it out.! Furthermore an ideal opportunity would be an appointment in conjunction with a newDirector of Football ( apparently according to reports) to foster a harmonious working relationship.
