Looking at the highlights of recent games and subsequent training photos, where are Long and Boufal? I would have thought they would be training even if they are leaving, no one is going to take an out of condition player on the wages these guys earn.

Long could smoke 50 a day and still be the fittest player on the pitch. Boufal could do fitness training 24 hours a day and still wouldn't work hard. So surely this wouldn't change their value lol.

Next week we play Wigan, the last team to win the F A cup and get relegated in the same season. Deja vu possibly? I watched today's game in total disbelief of the disorganisation that exists in our team.

Can anyone give me a positive from that performance? Did you all hear that clowns post match interview with Adam Blackmore? To late to sack him but maybe put him on garden leave and get Garry monk in, hopefully he could save us from inevitable relegation If MP stays in charge. I'm also running out of support for the Saints hierarchy in their inept handling of our perilous situation.

Hi GUYS
I have been a season ticket holder for this club for arround 50 years
i have now been worn down to complete apathy with this club, I can only assume that the board would welcome relegation so they can get rid of some of the dead wood and cut down their wage bill. otherwise they would have sacked this clown of a manager months ago, its also about time Les Read stepped down from his position as he seem's to have lost the plot with some of the transfers he has sanctioned, and let's not forget he didn't do much to try and keep poch, or kooman, allowed that prat from the spuds to undermine him and go to spain and sign Alderwierld. Since then he has signed claud paul, sack him after a year and then sign the clown we got now and while its patently obvious to everyone in the stadium that this guys is not up to premier divion standard, allows him to carry on and drag our team into the championship so i'm going to say, so long guys I won't be purchasing another season ticket until both les read and this clown are gone.

If you look at the results of all of the teams who represent saints there I a seriously worrying and underlying pattern of events. All teams are failing to win games, creating few chances and culmitively playing slow boring football. Good players do not become poor overnight, they are complying with directives from coaching staff and all look totally fed up. If the mode of tactics are not changed throughout the club then I am afraid we face relegation on several fronts.

Our manager doesn’t seem to be quite as animated or vocal from the touch line as some other managers are. Hope this doesn’t have a negative impact on players. Looked a bit, well vacant, pretty vacant, during the second half against Watford. Just when you’d like to see a manager Ferguson, Guardiola, Klopp or Keegan style getting their arms out and you know, inspiring the team. Just standing there looking on, maybe he was contemplating his tactics and working out a strategy to score goals and win the game, but for all I know he could have been thinking “chips for tea? â€
Anyway. He’s our manager and while he is I’m going to cheer the bloke on. Come on MoPel!

3 of our centre backs are very young and all have great potential. Most CBs don’t fully develop until they are in their middle 20s.

Let’s not forget how awesome Forster was when he joined us. He had a career threatening injury in his first season which obviously adversely affected him in his confidence and decision making. Let’s hope a loan move will give him a spring board back to his form when he joined us and ultimately then give the manager serious goalkeeping options.

Petagna is very similar to Pelle in physique but a little shorter, Marlon is not very tall but extremely athletic and quick. Both 22 with bags of potential if coached well and given plenty of game time, 2 potentially exciting additions. Looks like Carillo and Boufal are on their way which I would imagine will be loans with a buy clause built in. Shame about Boufal because there is an immensely talented footballer who may never fulfill his potential, Carillo. you all know my opinion of him from day one. Nice to hear of us being proactive in potential transfers of young talent again.

Suffering from stomach strains for much of his time with us which is a painful injury to play through. On his day he is a top class performer and he is still young, Hassenhuttl will get him right or he’ll go.
