Sebastian Haller again being rumoured to be joining saints, aa tall young centre forward is much needed and he fits the bill.

He has bags of potential and at 22 has a good score to game ratio in the dutch league and France u21's, hopeful, fits in with our recruitment model also.

Spot on Marko. More than a rumour. Fits the criteria of Puel as potentially a young striker who is getting better with age. 22yrs old 6ft 2in and pretty fast in movement. About £10 would secure him.
Come on Les gamble on him! Would be over the moon if brought in. With Boufal now in these two would add an extra dimension to our play.

I've had a look at him, I don't think he looks particularly good. Very weak on the ball. I'd prefer Nicolae Stanciu.

I am usually very cool headed. and do not question the board at all. But if a team is asking 20million, you don't offer 15mill with days left to go in transfer window. surely, just an example. if reports are correct, we appear to be offering less on too many occasions. ans as Bear would say, "Just Saying"

Transfers can be very complex, although the overall value of the bids may well be the same the bids can be structured very differently, payment times and add ons are an obvious example.

Reports are that saints have dropped there interest in Sebastian Haller as puell was impressed with Rodriguez when he came on Saturday, so no target man to come in and no news on a defender coming in, clubs ambition?

Hopefully one snapshot hasn't ruled out considering strengthening in this area. Clubs need goals to get points and I don't see a lot of goals in the team
We also need a target man as well, which we don't currently have.
And. decent/ proven cover for CD just in case VVD or Fonte get injured or banned. Although with all the games that are coming up a quality 3rd choice wouldn't go a miss.
That said, I wouldn't question the club's ambition as they've just splashed the cash on Boufal.

Saints had better replace him with a top quality signing or two, were down to the bare bones with striker's at the moment, letting him go doesn't make sense, so that will be pelle, mane, jayrod, gallegher, and juanme all gone up front and we've brought in Redmond a winger, truly shocking, is Rupert Lowe back in charge because it feels like it.
