Since the overwhelming success of the Poch and Koeman years are expectations were sky high but selling all our best players and the appointments of Puel and Pellegrino have been a reality check. Survival next season is a realistic target. let's face it the last two seasons we haven’t shown that we are anywhere near what we used to be in the league. Mark Hughes has the support of the squad which is something we have lacked of late. Give him some better players (centre back/ creative mid/ striker) and we will be alright.

Bertrand really did have a shocker, looks a frustrated player to me?
Tadic has been poor all season, spends more time trying to cheat than anything else.
Didn’t agree with what I have read that Saints dominated Stoke, they looked MUCH more dangerous attacking in the first half and it wasn’t exactly comfortable in the second.
I feel they look like they have more fight in them than we do and am now struggling to see which 2 teams are worse than Saints (West Brom excluded) .
As heartbreaking as it it is I don’t see how we will stay up with the fixtures we have left and our inability to win games. Still hope they give us a chance and sack MP but certain it isn’t going to happen.

Just seen it. Doesn’t surprise me. All season he has had the arrogance about him that he knows he won’t be getting sacked. It’s utterly devastating, I feel relegation is inevitable. He clearly isn’t capable of getting enough points from the last 11 games to keep us up based on what he has achieved so far.

I have been checking for news since last November that we have sacked him.
