Flying out to Singapore tomorrow night approx 8 pm . Staying Saturday and then on Sunday back to Auckland New Zealand. Loved my time back here on holiday with my partner. Hopefully find somewhere to catch up on the Premier League scores especially our beloved Saints. I predict a close game with Saints coming out the victors by the odd goal 2-1. Charlie Austin to score the winner. (If he plays this one) Good luck in the final 8 games, keep the faith, stay behind the manager, team and make the noise from start to finish. Keep up the good work Ed’s and Figo. COYR’s.

I agree absolutely and don’t like the idea of any clubs international players risking injury in friendlies that are of no importance. Just money earners for the f. a. As well as Charlie it looks like Steven Davis could be ready for West Ham game. Gets better as time goes on. Win our home games and get 6 points from the others and this should be enough to survive. COYR’s.

Oh bloody hell sorry about the cricket. Never gave it a thought about people recording it. I remember once my partner was working a 2 to 10pm shift and asked me to record a football match on tele. When he got in he said not to tell him the score line, who scored and who won. Unfortunately I told him that neither side scored. He was not happy. Still say would like Shaw back as solid back up for Bartrand with plenty of experience. Unfortunately Mourinho is not exactly a fan but again couldn’t see it happening. You have your view where I have mine but let’s let's hope Bartrand recovers from a back problem in time for West Ham. Brilliant news that Charlie Austin is virtually ready to play again. Perfect timing for the run in. Have a great day Chris and sorry once again for the cricket score.

Luke Shaw is a much better player than Matt Targett ( no disrespect to Matt) Yes he has had history of injuries but not the worst history of quite a few modern day footballers. He had foot surgery on June 30 th last year which he fully recovered from and is injury free since that. He turns 23 in July this year and still at a young age with plenty of years in front of him. He is contracted till July 2019 and currently on £70,000 a week. Not exactly financially crippling for Southampton F. C. If Manchester United would put him on the market there would be quite a few clubs interested. Absolutely agree about a centre half with pace but who is available out there? Give Hoedt and Stephens a chance for Christ’s sake they are young and learning all the time. Some of the best Centre Halves in the world don’t exactly have the pace of a winger but their experience more than make up for it. Any how flying back to Kiwi Land Easter so will watch Saints with interest . Oh by the way England cricket team got shot out for 58 runs by the Kiwis if any body is interested. Have a great day. COYR’s.

In my humble opinion I think we started the game to try and blend together and weather the storm from a side with their tails up and with bags of confidence. Yes Wigan had a few chances but the defensive lads grew in confidence by half time. The second half we improved by the minute and Sparky’s tactics were spot on. Even Redmond looked better than before. It’s a shame that you’re not convinced about Mark Hughes but hey let’s hope you are proved wrong. I for one am very convinced he will get us out this mess left by one of the most inept managers I have witnessed. It’s even better that MH has the luxury of a two week break before our next game therefore getting to know the players not on international duty better. Wouldn’t mind getting Luke Shaw back . Shame I won’t be here for the West Ham game. Have a great day everybody. COYR’s.
