Been reading that' we are close to an agreement with pelligrino to be announced by end of week.

The way we go about our business it wouldn't surprise me if the papers have got it wrong and someone not mentioned before is appointed.
Hopefully will be resolved soon. I do trust the board though and am sure the appointment will be best for the club.

I'd have thought that for a start Lander would trust the way a manager has been selected over the last few years and let that process continue. Also I'm sure they would be fully aware that getting someone in early is a high priority so that they can bed in and get a full pre season in place. Failure to do that will impact the new season, cost points and therefore cost them.
This deal could be completed soon but just as likely to drag on for a month or two,

jof33 and what leads you to doubt us so much? As far as I can see we've been run as well as any club in England over the past 5 years or so. But hey, on football manager you had us in the champions league so it must be that easy right?

I doubt the manager will be a name that none of the press or social media have mentioned and if the Black Box was all that, wouldn't it have pointed out to Les, Puel's philosophy of possession play. Plus I can't imagine it tracking for years players such as Pied, Martina and Clasie for example and I don't know why Spuds or Everton don't have one of their own now, if it's that good?

If the black box was any good it would say buy at the start of the window not the end. In all seriousness if j rod goes wba as rumoured then we are well light up front hopefully new man will fancy a target man as a plan b having watch wood recently would like to see Gallagher given a go. Possibly promote olumola from u23s as well.
See chambers rumours doing the rounds can't see him coming back and am sure he only has a year left so 20m seems a bit steep.

I've been hearing that saints maybe looking at harry maguire cb hull city 25 a replacement for fonte, he was awesome on Sunday, or sakho .
The striker from Real Madrid he looks a beast would go all out to sign this guy .
