Massive win! I just got that feeling today that we wouldn't lose - Leicester have been iffy at home despite their form against the big clubs and an early goal definitely got the home fans onto Puel's back.

Petulance from Valery, a very soft sending off but hopefully he'll learn from that - could mean we see Cedric and Bertrand playing together again next week - but I feared the worst at that point. Massive goal from Long - some things are possible!

We did well to dig in and finally hold onto a lead, thought Bednarek was immense and Vestergaard played well too. If we're going to stick with a back three I'd definitely like another CB in however. Love Ralph's passion, only a point outside the bottom three but with Fulham and Huddersfield being cut adrift I'll take a battle with Cardiff Burnley and Newcastle - confident we'll outscore at least one of them over the rest of the season.

On Puel, I cannot for the life of me understand why he's under so much pressure. Yes they've lost at home to Cardiff and us but they beat City and Chelsea, we saw ourselves he's a frustrating coach at times with his rotation and style of play which can bring inconsistent results, but surely Leicester should be hoping for 7th-10th with the squad they have now?

We forced him out after a similar spell and look how that turned out for us - think they should be careful what they wish for.

{Ed001's Note - can I ask what you think of Valery? I have seen him a couple of times and just think he is dreadful. Defensively he is suspect, at best, and going forward he seems lost. Just wondered if that is just because I have not seen enough of him or if he is just not that good?}

Hi Ed; I think for the age he is and the situation he’s come into, starting with the United game, he did ok. Didn’t set the world alight but did well for the team. Recently he’s seemed poor and I hope we don’t sell Cedric because he isn’t good enough to be our regular right back - better than Cuco mind, then again so is my mum.

Hopefully he will improve with experience and it has been good to see him get a run in the starting XI but, without slashing his confidence I think he should revert back to 2nd choice if Cedric is now fully fit. If we get Cedric and Bertrand back as our first choice full back pairing in a 3-5-2 with quality forwards I think we could start to fly.

{Ed001's Note - now Cedric is a good full back. Thanks for your thoughts, just interested as I have only seen him a couple of times and sometimes that gives completely the wrong impression.}

Excellent result. The passion displayed today vs under Hughes is night and day. You can tell the players would run through brick walls for Ralph, Romeu and Vestergaard were stand outs for me. In regards to Valery He certainly shows at times he possesses a fair amount of potential. What worries me as though is that he seems a little hot headed. Like today that second yellow was daft.

Our senior players need to pull him aside and say your letting us all down and see how he reacts
Still young with a hell of a lot to learn so can’t be to critical.

Cédric has been found out teams actively target him high balls that he never wins Valery has massive potential 19 in a team shot of confidence has pace and fight. Leicester in the other hand Vardy has no class and his England days are over maddisson think he is the next David beckham but is more like the next David Bentley.

I like him. Think he got targeted by Leicester once they saw he would react. Ralph made a mistake I think in not taking him off sooner. Think the lad has huge potential and will be our first choice right back in years to come. Judging him on a few games with a new manager still tinkering with systems would be harsh. Time will tell.

And disagree about bringing back Bertrand. Targett has done enough now for me to be in front of him in the pecking order.

Give Valery 30 games under his belt, then he can be properly assessed. I think he’ll be our right back for a few years.

Targett hasn't been that good. He's got a great cross on him but has looked sloppy at times and isn't in Bertrand's league defensively. He's a good prospect and could start for some Premier League sides, but not ahead of Bertrand.

That depends if we see Bertrand of a couple of years ago back or the sulk that has been around recently.

Bertrand is good in a back 3, and has a wicked free kick on him. Add that to his other strengths and get him over his recent injury, and he will be a breath of fresh air. Quality, and versatility.
