IT was indeed. Hasenhuttl certainly has his work cut out. Looks like we could be occupying bottom spot at Christmas when you look at the fixtures.

Yes well until January (when we hopefully get at least one centre back) I think we should play a cb pairing of Yoshida and Bednarek. Certainly seem to be the least error prone of our defenders.

Yoshida has been poor this season when he’s played. I agree Bednarek should start, but beyond him I honestly don’t know. Think I’d be inclined to partner him with Stephens - they’re all mistake prone, but Stephens always shows passion and is quite comfortable on the ball. Could definitely use someone in January, Gary Cahill seems like someone who could get our back line organised!

123, although some may say Cahill is not a usual saints signing, he is exactly what we need. Doesn’t need to be specifically but someone with PL experience but whose legs have not gone.
