Although I feel underwhelmed at the moment, I am going to give the boys we have my backing. Didn't want silly signings as others may have wished, just decent cover as we push on two fronts. I'm sure there are people at the club who can see this but maybe what we needed just wasn't out there or didn't want to come simple as that. Now this is over we need to get behind the team and grab our first 3 points.

I agree completely.
There are a few 'iffy' areas . which most definitely need to be taken into consideration.

I think we have got a decent bunch of players to work with and think we can do very well. however the European journey ahead makes me worry about depth. Especially as you say with Jay Rod and Austin being injury concerns.

I think Boufal is going to be an awesome signing. Potential from him is unreal. As is Hojbjerg - He is going to be AWESOME.

I love Shane Long and with Dusan and Boufal providing we have got great potential, although I'd have loved a CF too.
Someone mentioned Crouch, I'd have taken that all day long.
Yes he is 35. But he gives an 'extra option' if we need to go for it in the last 20 minutes of a game.

Anyway. we have what we have now and I am behind the boys through and through.
