From wot I've seen I would say that vlaar, van djik, gueye, clasie, kante, gignac, austin.are all targetts but depends on if we can get them at the right price or if they won't to come.and schniederlin, clyne, fonte(maybe), will be off and I can see elia being signed and osvaldo and gaston back playing in saints shirts again

Not going to lie, I hope half of what you said is wrong. I think the club would be foolish to have an aggressive wife beater representing them, especially one who has headbutted the captain. Gaston. potentially could be useful in Europe. Elia would be great at the right price as squad filler. If Fonte leaves I will donate £10 to a Scouse rehab center. Spider and Clyne could both go although I hope just the one! I would still hope Alderweireld may sign. I am more conerned about Spuds than Chelski in that chase as maybe the returning party of Filip Luis will show Toby just how good West London benchwarming can be. Clasie and Austin are a must with another CB if Toby goes to spuds.

Why do saints fans worry about players personal lives so much? Yes he's an idiot ((if true) you've only heard one side of the story don't forget) but there's been plenty of footballers who've had dodgy personal lives and whilst I'm not condoning anything, it doesn't change how good they are on the pitch (which is where we, as fans, should judge them). We need a striker who can score goals, Osvaldo gets them. If he wants to be here, I don't have a problem with that.
And from what I've heard about the training ground incident between him and Fonte is that they're both equally to blame.

I agree with southampton87 about the signings too, those would all be good, I'd only take van Dijk off that list if Alderweireld signs (I think Vlaar's experience would be more valuable if we're without Fonte)

Having Osvaldo back would completely go against the family values and great PR of the club that is seeking to reach a more global community. Yes, football is his profession and he's entitled to continue to do so, but it would be quite damaging for the club if he plied his trade here again. I can already envision the campaign the British media would set against Saints and him if he was given the opportunity.

Some fans do need to remember you can only make do with what you have and as we are a small club we can't afford to let our investments ply there trade elsewhere just makes no sense wot so ever.and its good that family and children go but be real wot team in england don't have family's in,they don't advertise there self as a family run club.you've heard the eds repeat and repeat we ain't got a load of cash to spend so we need bigger sponsors and deals alike pampers ain't going to pay us that much.

If that were the case we would of never sent Ramirez and Osvaldo out on loan last season. It's crystal clear the club want them off the books, they were bad investments authorised by Cortese, it's just a matter of trying to find a buyer and getting as much as possible.

Clubs loan players for plenty of reasons, it could be that we'd reached the max number of non English players in the 25 man squad, or we were hoping that he'd do a Toby and have a great season and then come back to us fully fit, we might have wanted him to have a run of games in order to find some form and fitness without us taking the risk, could have been to take the pressure off the player and give him a season somewhere where he's not expected to score a hat trick every game (like some saints fans seem to do), it could have been Ramirez who wanted a loan to prove himself but it's all speculation of course and whilst not discounting the possibility of the club wanting rid of Ramirez, things are rarely what they seem

As for Osvaldo, it's more probable that the club want rid but I'd be more than happy to give him a second chance if/when the club decide to do so
