Heard a few reports from some contacts 'in the know' regarding some growing noise around Standard Liege's Moussa Djenepo and Ademola Lookman - both pacey versatile wingers who would each cost about £20m.

Apparently movement has already begun and we could see a firm offer or even a deal being struck in the next few weeks for one of them - snapping up both is highly unlikely and Hasenhuttl would prefer Djenepo if only one were acquired.

At least we're sounding out the right areas needed for improvement if this if accurate - Adams, Maehle and a CB and I'm happy.

Also just read some reports from Liverpool that Lallana could be heading back our way? Not sure how I feel about that - 31 now and has done little in recent years due to injury - the price he'd cost I'm not sure would be good business on our part.

No to Lallana. Doesn't fit our age policy, and bar Ings I don't think we take former players back. In a playing capacity, I mean. Djenepo rumours seem more realistic and reasonable than the Augustin and Mitrovic ones. I'd like him and Adams to join if all five of Boufal, Elyounessi, Austin, Carrilo, and Gallagher leave. Having Redmond, Sims, Adams, Ings, Obafemi, either Djenepo or Lookman, and Long to battle out for the forward slots look good enough for me. I read that we're also looking at Evan N'dicka (center back) of frankfurt although not sure how accurate that is. And the media says we're targeting either Maehle or Ranger's Tavernier for the right back slot as well.

Would love the N’Dicka rumours to come to fruition, and happy with that potential front line. If we give Boufal another go and bring in one of those wingers, plus Adams and one of those two right backs for around £60m, I’d be delighted.
