Surely that's us safe now! Huge win, thought we had a chance given how low Wolves must have felt after last weekend. Eight clear of Cardiff and Brighton dropping like a stone - their match on Tuesday is a bit of a Swansea-Saints last season I feel. Given who they both have to play, they aren't both catching.

Newcastle, Watford, West Ham, Bournemouth and Huddersfield left. We'll have plenty in the bank. We aren't going down. Now let's get a good replacement for Krueger in and start getting immersed into the scouting of summer recruits. Give Ralph everything that he wants! The man is a hero.

Here's to a great 2019/ 20 season. Onwards and upwards.

COYS.

Hi giggsy,

Great performance from the whole team, I agree we are practically safe, let's just play out the last few games with the same spirit! I think the summer will be interesting, I am not predicting many players coming in as there are so many loan issues to be resolved. I raise a possible contentious issue, I am a great admirer of Danny Ings but I fear is he genuinely fit enough long term to commit £20m to buy him? We haven't had him fit for the whole season and I genuinely like him but we cannot afford to carry another potential injury worry. Anyone else with the same concerns? As always coyr. Regards vs.

His transfer is mandatory if what I read at the time was correct, so we don't have a choice.

Either way, I'd say its worth it. He showed his quality again yesterday - players like that are hard to find. We need to find another as it is (I don't expect Austin to be here next year, or think that he should, and if Long stays it needs to be as our 3rd) .

I think a healthy Danny Ings has 20 goals in him playing in the side I saw play yesterday. There are questions over his ability to stay healthy, but I'll take that over whoever else we'd bring in, who'd likely have questions over their actual ability!

I agree - he was fantastic yesterday. Hopefully Ralph can keep him fit but I think it’s an obligation to buy so we will have to see - given a long rest maybe he can fully recooperate.

No doubt that we need another RB, probably a CB, and a forward or two. We’ve already expressed interest in Maehle and Adams - hopefully those two for £15m, plus profits if we sell Clasie, Forster, maybe Lemina, and probably Boufal and Carrillo will balance the books to get in some more resources.

I think we could see some academy products begin to come through now - Klarer has been immense for the U23s (still only 19/ 20 I think), and he’s Austrian - maybe Ralph can work some magic there.

But regardless - give Ralph a ten year contract, give him as much money as you can find, let him mould his team - the groundwork has already been laid - and we can be next season’s Wolves (or a 2015/ 16 Saints if you will) - challenge for cups, give the top six teams a real go and see how far up the table we can get.

Think we are still in danger. We probably need to win 1 game and draw 2 to be safe.
