Some impressive signings so far. let's hope we can get rid of some of the dead wood and that we still have on our books (boufal anyone? )

Looks like we will miss out on shaquiri as he's going to Liverpool (strange signing for them)

I still think we need some real creativity (No.10 or tricky right winger) and a proper striker.

Ed have you any new info on these positions other than what you've already posted? Also is there any update on Marlon Santos? Thanks.

Very impressive so far have to say! But we'd still need another CB (Santos? ), a proven striker (Ings? ) and a creative no 10). If we could fill those, it has to be the best transfer window ever!

And still need to sell/ loan out Boufal, Forster, at least one CB (Yoshida/ Stephens? ) and one striker (Long? )

Jarkko, don't really get the logic of us signing another CB only to then loan out Stephens or Yosh?

Agree we still need someone who can unlock a defence, either as a 10 or a winger.

Look at Ed002's message from 4th July. He clearly said that 2 CBs are on the radar. And to me thats! ogical. We used to have strong stopper pair, Fonte/ Alderweireld then Fonte/ VVD. We didn't replace Fonte or VVD until Vestergaard signed. To me, Hoedt is at the moment far away from PL standard as is Bednarek and Stephens. Yoshida decent backup, but not a regular starter. So, I pretty much share the opinion that two strong CBs this summer is needed. Then we need to offload some CB quantity.
