Obviously we are now approaching the 6th day in the transfer window and I was just wondering if anybody knows of any solid information in regards to actually getting players in?

The Guido Carrillo thing seems pretty solid info, however I'm not sure weather we have actually put a bid in for him, and if we have weather they have refuse or accepted. I do hope it goes ahead because I think that he is the South-American attacking influence the team badly needs. Do you know any more eds?

HAHAHAHAHA how is Sam McQueen going out on loan a signal of intent. And if that's all it takes for you to be off, then just go. He's not our starting left back. there is a very logical reason to let him go out on loan

It could even be that the board like him as a prospect more than Targett and so will keep Targett as cover and let McQueen get experience elsewhere while behind Bertrand as our LB.

I'm sorry Rayzer, but that's absurd.

He has shown quality every time and I was talking permanent move. Bertrand will be leaving at some point and I don't think target has shown enough. Yeah a lone till end if the season if Bertrand is staying I agree with what you're saying about getting him the experience but I feel he would be better in and around our club. Also a little Friday night lubrication may of led to my claims so apologies for that hahahahaah.

Guido Carrillo great non consistent goal scorer we already got 3 of them. 15 goals in 63 games not setting the world alight is he? The board need to get real and start looking at your 20 goal a season striker something a bit more consistent.

If we are to make a Statment it won't be this January for sure! As we've dug ourselves in possible drop to the championship no matter what we think we are in a fight for sure. We have simple sold one to many world class player to attract a known 20 goal a season player like Timo Warner. who would cost at least 40 million anyway.

We see what happens next?

Pony you say 20 goal a season striker there are not many of them about Aguero, Kane etc. We are not getting any of them so again it will have to be a gamble on someone we think can score regularly. Agree 13 in 60 odd is not really great.

We’re never going to attract a 20 goal a season striker but I do think there are a few decent options available, Batshuayi on loan for the rest of the season would be a shout just to get us through this season and keep us up and then in summer have a look at the market and sign a permanent striker with a decent goal scoring record. Even Ings on loan for the rest of the season would help.

Shaqiri from Stoke. Creative player and would weaken a direct rival. It won't happen for that reason alone. Maybe in the summer though.
